Professional Triathletes Organisation Announce FORM Smart Swim Goggles as Official Swim Partner of the PTO Tour
LONDON: The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) today announced that it has partnered with FORM, the leader in tech-enabled swim platform, as Official Swim Partner of the 2022 PTO Tour and the LA Pro-AM, to be held in May.
The PTO Tour has revolutionised triathlon with its highly competitive events that marry high-level competition and production to create races that are exciting to athletes and spectators alike. FORM is changing the world of swimming by giving athletes real-time, in-goggles access to all their most essential swim data like time, distance, pace, and the training analytics tool with the FORM Swim App to see the big picture of their swim training, helping triathletes and swimmers to be their best in every workout and race. By partnering, PTO and FORM are working to give more athletes access to this cutting-edge athletic technology, and helping them be their best during training and on race day.
The PTO races will give FORM-sponsored athletes Lionel Sanders, Skye Moench, Hannah Wells, and Sarah Crowley a platform to showcase their competitive skill and drive, and will demonstrate the value of FORM’s technology to a global audience. All PTO races are available to view via live streaming, giving triathlon fans the chance to see the world’s best athletes in action.
The PTO Tour in 2022 consists of the PTO Canadian Open in Edmonton, Canada on 23rd-24th July; The Collins Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia on 20th-21st August; and the PTO US Open in Dallas, Texas on 17th-18th September. Professional Races will see the world’s greatest non-drafting professional male and female triathletes competing for a prize purse of $1,000,000 for each Open, and $1,500,000 at The Collins Cup. The PTO Tour has also introduced age group racing, giving amateurs the opportunity to meet and race alongside the professionals, a hallmark of the sport of Triathlon.
To celebrate FORM’s sponsorship of the PTO Tour, triathletes can enter a sweepstakes to win a free entry to a select event: the PTO Canadian Open, the PTO US Open, or the PTO LA Pro-Am. One winner will also receive a pair of FORM goggles and a one-year FORM membership. This contest is open to US and Canadian residents, and you can enter here. Enter by March 25, 2022, at 11:59 pm PST for your chance to win!
At each race, FORM will offer consumer demos, athlete education sessions, and raffles to win free FORM goggles at each event. FORM will also take over the PTO TOUR Pro Swim Zones at all events, including branded swim start, buoys, and exit ramp.
Sam Renouf, CEO of the PTO, stated: “We are delighted to partner with Form as our official swim partner"
Dan Eisenhardt, Founder and CEO of FORM: "Many triathletes around the world have discovered how training and racing with FORM can improve their race times. We're excited that our new partnership with PTO will give even more of the world's best triathletes access to our world-class smart goggles, helping them to set new personal records."
PTO Tour Age Group registration is now open at events.protriathletes.org/pto-tour/.
